Phishing scam targeting World of Warcraft players

There is a spam floating around offering the chance to opt-in to a trial of some new mounts for WoW. It is a phishing scam designed to phish your account details.

I would think that gamers are a little more observant to scam emails; and thus, the chances of a successful phishing scam targeting gamers should be rather low. Nonetheless, given how many players play WoW, it’s not surprising scammers are entering the online gaming realm and phishing for WoW players.

Don’t click on random links in emails. I use Gmail mostly, and it filters out most of the spam quite effectively.
