New Facebook phishing scam hits Macedonian users – The phishing attempt would start with a convincingly realistic message in the victim’s news feed, saying that a friend had posted something on his or her wall or had commented on a photo. To read the message, the victim would have to click on a link. The link would lead to a page that looked exactly like the Facebook login page, with the only difference being that this page was not served from facebook.com. By logging in on this page, victims would hand their username and password to the hackers.
