About

What Scam Free Internet is about?

I started this blog to help people avoid scams on the internet. From charging money for free software to counterfeit to non-delivery, variety of scammers galore.

I’ll try to provide useful information on how to get what you want the proper way.

Here’s what’s going on so far:

Widgets: I made a couple of simple widgets you can use to search a URL to see if it’s a scam or not. It uses a custom Google search that only searches through handpicked websites that are most relevant in the field of online scams. There’s one for your Windows Vista or Windows 7 desktop. The other is for your iGoogle page. Download them here.

Daily News – I basically covered all the internet scam-related topics over the years. Soooo…. it kind of feels like a waste of time to report on same ol’ stuff. You won’t see much news anymore.

Who to Contact When You Have Been Scammed – Contact information and websites of various anti-fraud agencies around the world are listed here. Contact the appropriate authorities if you were scammed. Also, let me know if I’m missing some.

Tech Tips – Often times, free applications are sold or used for malicious purposes. Tech tips provide tips and guides to help you get them from the right sources and use these applications properly. Sometimes, random non-internet-scam related software tips will be there, too.

Scam Lists – We’ve compiled a list of scam websites that you should avoid. There is P2P scam list, Online TV scam list, Diet scam list, Teeth whitening scam list and Work-at-home/make money scam list. Well, we’ve managed to build all 5 lists quite a bit. :) You can help by submitting scam websites YOU find.

AND… if you’re interested in providing good articles or article materials, please do contact us here, and read the info here.

Thank you for visiting.
