Listen up lawyers — and everyone else! In light of my last article, , the list of tips below should help everyone to avoid advance fee frauds. These tips are meant for lawyers, but apply to all potential victims.

Working on the theory that the 419 advance fee fraud plays on people’s greed, who would be the best target? Lawyers, of course.

Nigerians are at it again with non-existent animals. A couple was duped out of £300.
Bruce McGregor’s mother and stepfather responded to an online ad offering a parrot for free. Just like in the horse case, the scammer offers an animal for free, but the catch is the transportation cost.
