I’ve put together, with your help, a list of scam sites that claim to deliver satellite video content to your PC. They do not offer anything of value.
Don’t pay for any “satellite” or online TV services from sites listed here. Most are likely selling free players such as Miro (formerly democracy player), TVU Player, SOP Cast or linking to free streams which you can get for free at live streaming third party sites such as .

With many of these sites, you will see in fine print something like this: “We do not host or offer video content of our own”, which means they don’t have the rights to any of the content, and thus are likely selling free players with user contributed content. You are not going to get access to all the newest movies and live sports in HD, like they promise. Some even include viruses and other malwares.

Thanx for the info, I was getting ready to pay $50 to tvonpc.net for 3000 channels. They said I can display programs on my TV as well but dont say how its done.
They just mean you can connect your computer to the TV. It’s not a feature of any program. It’s a scam so it’s a good thing you didn’t pay.

watchlivenhl.tv – typical bloody “Pay for otherwise free” tv website. No access to any hockey games at all, just basic sports links nothing to do with hockey that you can get free form this site on admin’s “how i watch sport online” page . Simply awful and no refund either. Hope you guys can add it to the list! Thanks!

I’m not sure if this one is for real or not — I wanted to watch shows like 20/20 and
the Food channel — but the “security buttons” for PayPal, etc. are “NOT” clickable…which I have heard raises a red flag! Does anyone know about this one???

For those who do want to watch UK and European football I have found streamsdirect.info to be very good, you do pay but very little and they show all Premiership matches.
