A Look Inside Nigerian Scammers’ World

Here’s a two part video of an Australian investigation (60 Minutes) into the world of Nigerian internet scammers.
Nigerian police raid into cyber cafes and arrest 419 suspects. Apparently, Nigerian policemen like to slap their suspects. What I found interesting was that the locals are on the scammers’ side. They throw rocks at the police and generally seem to have favorable opinions on scamming Westerners.

I read a very sad story today.
Internet scam victim was killed by a train. It looks like the 38-year old was over-burdened with dept he incurred due to an internet scam and took his own life. He had made 14 transfers to Nigeria totaling £27,500. It is very sad.
