Scarewares Target Twitter

Recently Microsoft sued… Continue reading malvertisers in an effort to stop the madness that is the industry of scarewares and roguewares.
A new popular method for spreading scarewares, other than advertising and spam, is to target social networking sites. They make fake Twitter and Facebook accounts and inject links that lead to websites that sell scarewares. It’s called scareware because the website tries to scare you into purchasing
